The field of almost 200 cars is set to hit the track in individual time trials at 8am and run until around 3pm.

One of the casualties was track recordÂÂ holder, Warwick Hutchinson, who overshot the first turn in his RF92 Van Diemen-rotary and broke the front wing. Subsequently, he was beaten to the fastest time of the day by Neil Lewis, who recorded 51.7 seconds around the one km course in a DBF1 single-seater.
Tomorrow's highlights include the Shannons Show 'n' Shine display and the second day of the Retro Caravan Show Off, which has attracted 22 colourful vintage vans.
